    Default Screen cap problems..

    Whenever i'm watching someting on an AVI...i use snagit to take a picture of whatever i'm watching...but the screencomes out all black..any suggestions?

    You can't take screenshots of video with a program like that. You have to use a video player that will take screenshots.

    wouldn't it just be easier to hit ctrl + alt + print screen to get a screen of the whole window then go into any photo editing program and cut the part you want out? seems logical to me....

    Or just play the thing in Bsplayer then take the shot with that.

    I downloaded fraps a couple of days ago, version 1.9 was free and quite good (the limitations don't bother me). Too bad it isn't active with bink player.

    But a good program to take video shots from games.

    like i said before, why not just do the ctrl alt print screen thing? it's just a couple of keys to press then pasting.

    Works great here, stores in my documents/my pictures/

    atleast it stores them there on WinXP.

    Try VirtualDub, it is made for subtitles, but you can also make screens of AVI's....my avatar is the proof of it
