Thread: Ah, inspiration strikes again. What religious books/texts/whatever have you read?

Default Ah, inspiration strikes again. What religious books/texts/whatever have you read?

I've read the Bible once, albeit long ago, because I wanted to know exactly what I was arguing against. My views on religion should be properly explained in other threads, so I'll leave that alone and post this thread now...

Lol@me. Anyone who has the power to do so, feel free to add a "none of the above" option to the poll...

I read the Koran, and, unlike the bible, it's not full of fairy-tales (no offense)

Bible...I was taking control of the Cologne Archbishopric in a BBS game set shortly after Luther's 95 Theses and the Reformation, and was looking for something to help gradually turn my Archbishopric into a Protestant stronghold.

Not a very religious person, it might ring a bell if I heard someone pronounce it though....I have heard of the boddah though, that guy is cool.

You forgot the Jewish Talmud, very important m8. As for me, I've only read fragments of the Koran and more of the Christian Bible, it has some interesting myths.

I have never read a religious book in my life.. I don't think I'll start too anytime soon.

Right... So how about we pretend it says "Christian religious texts/books/whatever", "Muslim religious text/books/whatever" and so on instead, then? Forgot a little about the Talmud there, yeah, it's been a while since 7th grade religion classes...
