What OS Do You Use?

Solaris... just kidding I'm using Windows XP. But want to try out linux but that will be in a few weeks. I think I will stick with XP for awhile till a new windows comes out.

Windows 95, 98, 2K, XP and i have a DOS machine, and i use Linux in at school, they customised a computer in there, and built it for Linux users...still learning it all though...

Two dual boot comps,
First comp runs WinXP + Suse
second comp runs WinXP + Debian.

Also two single boots, one running win2k other running win 3.11 XD

I use on all my computers Windows XP , but I wanna install Linux on 1 of my computers

Btw I heard that Linux is better then Windows but what makes it better then Windows?

Depends on what you want to do with it really, for servers and such it is. But for games stay with windows.

Windows. Linux sux. Lindows is a Bootable CD with Linux. You can just insert it into your CD-Drive, then Linux will be loaded instead of Windows. No, not installing, LOADING. It's pretty easy, and it sux pretty good

Nitramuse, if the only distro you have ever tried and rated linux on is lindows (nowerdays its caled linspire) then you have no right whatsoever to say linux sucks.

If linux had a persona I hope it would say you suck

I still have the evergreen win98se, but I have saved some hd space for linux. Have to download Fedora here in school (cable here, 56k home) and burn it on cd's.

win98se is actually quite nice compared to most of the windows offerings.

will you actually get away with downloading your linux iso's at school?

I use Windows XP on 3 computers, Linux on 1 of them and of course my trusty old Amiga with Workbench 3.1
