Actually studies have shown the pornography really has little affect as to whether or not someone will rape women. Basically what it does is desensitize men to rape, and not think it's quite as bad (or so studies have shown). Eh, I keep going back and forth on this one, so I'll mostly keep my opinions to myself, but when it really comes down to it, it seems to me that porn is almost universally degrading to women, and it's likely that it encourages that attitude of soulless sexgrubbing that is already far too prevalent in men of our culture. And whether that's necessarily a bad thing or not, it is fucking annoying, so go figure.
EDIT: Also worth mentioning is that hentai doesn't necessarily mean tentacle-rape. Go figure.
