Russian - How can i get it 2 work?

I'm trying 2 install some russian games on my PC, and the install looks something like:



_____________________ _____ _ _ _ __________ "Game name" _-_________________________??_______________________

I have a swedish version of ME, how can i get this 2 work? My friends says that i have to install a russian version of windows, but i dont want to Is it really necessary? Or is there another way to get it to work?
