What are the hardware requirements for Celestia?
Celestia requires 64 megabytes of RAM and at least a Pentium class processor on which to run. Although it's not absolutely required, the program will be vastly more enjoyable if you also have a 3D graphics accelerator in your computer.

I installed this ages back, it is great for it's purpose. I mean if you download this expecting a game, you're gonna be disappointed. If you download it to look at a well modelled map of the solar system, then you're gonna love it.

I seen that someone had modelled a higher res version of the moon a while back on one of the Celestia forums... looked incredible! Was quite a large download though due to the texture sizes.

Quite a coincidence, so did I while I was looking for a new wallpaper.
Oh and the min specs: A 600mhz processor and 128mb for it to run finely, but 256mb is reccomended. 512mb runs perfectly. Turn off shading on Saturn's rings if you dont want your comp to die.

World of Warcraft... my friend convinced me... bt what started as a skeptic sense of wary enjoyment has turned into the biggest time-waster of all... well, uh, time. I'm getting better. But that's what all addicts say.
