It doesn't matter all that much wich Linux you use, IMO....
But if you still want a choise: Just do Mandrake

I've had a few problems with Mandrake 10 (namely dual boot refusing to work, even though 9.2 and 9.1 worked fine) so i won't suggest going for, but Fedora Core aka Redhat 10 is great - http://fedora.redhat.com
