A Question about *.cue files
I have downloaded many PSX Games.
But, Some of them are combined with a bin file and cue file.
I can play them by opening BIN files, but what is the function of the cue files?
Many PC Games too had the cue files,

If you burn that image, you give the burning program that cue file, which introduces the contents of cd. The data itself is in the bin file. But to make exact copies, that's what the cue file is for.
Have you seen me before?

And to further explain what the cue file is used for . It basically contains the information about where the iso is, the name of it, and how to burn the iso.

I had recently downloaded WWE Smckdown: HCTP for the Ps2.
It contained an mdf and mds files. The MDF file was 4.61 GB and the mds file was about 4kb.
Does the mds file do the same function as a cue file?
I opened the mdf file with PCSX 0.6 but nothing happened.
The same was it when i opened the mds file.
Please Help.
Note: I have both the real Japan and USA bios.

I cant tell ya since my alcohol is expired but just look around the program for virtual drive. Its not that hard to find. Enable a virtual drive. Now go into my computer and it should be there. Right click-mount image. Mount the mds file, since this is like burning a cd(kinda) and the mds file is like a cue(kinda)

I mounted the MDS file on the Virtual Drive. (In my case,G:\)
How can I start it now??
I tried doing the Run Cd in PCSX2 0.6
It asked an image of the game. I went to the Virtual Drive folder.
There, an image is nowhere to be found

the drive will appear as if you just put in the cd. If the emu is askin for an image you need to change the plugin to a cdr plugin. Either that, or use isobuster on the virtual drive t get an ISO.
Keep in mind that mounting an image is just like putting a cd into a drive.

Yes the MDS file is just like a cue file it gives the information to the burning app what type of iso will be burned. Only this is that it cant be modified by notepad like a .cue file could.
