Teh Emuparadise Gil Thingies :: Howto
Seeing as how the new gil system is the latest craze in the forums, I thought it only fair enough to post this little sticky. And also lay down a FIRM RULE, NO MORE THREADS ABOUT GETTING GIL!. The Gil system works and it will give you gil for valid threads which have over 20 posts or yadda yadda.
In this post, right here in this thread, I am going to enlist how you can go about earning your well deserved gil for your daily labour. We will be adding new methods regularly, so keep checking back to keep your gil grabbing strategies updated.
Currently, here's how you can get gil:
If you create a thread, and your thread recieves the following number of:
REPLIES::
20 replies - you get 50 gil
50 replies- you get 100 gil
100 replies - you get 200 gil
200 replies - you get 400 gil
300 replies - you get 600 gil
VIEWS::
100 views - 10 gil
200 views - 20 gil
300 views - 30 gil
600 views - 60 gil
1000 views - 100 gil
Also, for every POLL you vote on, you get 10 gil!
You can also take part in the lottery which gives the winner a large amount of gil! So make sure you buy a ticket for the lottery.
Now, it is against the rules to create threads as the one Rucharly created, to "test" the gil system. The gil system works, and it has been tested before. Currently there are 789 forums atleast on the internet using this system, there is no doubt about the fact that it works. One more thing, marq08's thread for Votes n' Gil, well, it's not exactly against the rules but it does go against the principle of what votes really stand for. So please, refrain from such capitalist popularity sickened behaviourand take your dirty deeds into PM.
