Default Check this... they insist on getting into the users privacy...

Read that... why do they want to stick their nose on everything?

I know a few valid reasons... but imagine what they would be able to do if this proposal is approved...

    What do you think?

Ah yes, I saw this on good old slashdot already, its totally out of order to expect all the internet standards and protocold to be changed just so that they can stop anyone from having any kind of privacy/freedom of expression.

And what do they expect to usefully achieve by intercepting gigabytes of data per second? they expect to make some kind of usefull sense of it?

    fucking morons..

I understand there reasoning behind it. The main reason is to be able to catch terrorists using the internet phone stuff and IM. It will also make it easier for people who trade roms and ISOs to get caught too I think.

I don't think the FBI will waste resources on sniffing for downloaded ISOs.

its probably worse then we think. they are likely already doing what they want. now they just want to make it legal. Freedom is a illusion.

If it does, then the world has suddenly ended for some of us. I think I should switch back to dial-up. More secure.

Freedom... there is no freedom... they want to audit everything under the excuse of terrorism. One day they will pass a law that allows the Government to put up cameras in houses, just to be sure that nobody will try to go against the law... it reminds me of that movie, 1984.

There is no freedom... just obey, and be a good boy... let us see your life. we don't care about your "privacy", Mr. Anderson...

Not even the internet is safe from those who are supposed to guarantee our privacy. Fuck them.

Yeah, that is pretty fucked up. On the bright side I have 56k....wait, did I just say that was a bright side?

If they made everything easy to tap wouldn't people really easily be able to hack all of that stuff as well? I don't see that as a very good thing.

Oh well, who needs freedom anyway? As long as we can stop those damn terrorists!
