I finaly got around to buying Zelda: Minish Cap...

So far it's good. It looks like it might be a little short for my tastes... but the graphics and sound quality are very good.

These 3 NES games. (Of which I have only gotten Mission Impossible and Raid on Bungeling Bay to work constantly, Spelunker worked once then died )

Right now I'm on a lookout for Back to the Future and Die Hard for the NES....argh.

A bit of testing is necessary to determine which disc format is preferred by your brand of drive in the Xbox (mine is DVD+R and CD-RW), but other than that, you can get everything a Modchip will get you...except the ability to turn it off for Xbox Live. The plusses are it is completely reversible if you ever want to get rid of your console, and is non invasive.
Upon further investigation, I have found out that I have the Thomsom drive, the worst next to the Hitachi. So, some time int eh next two weeks, I'm going to trade this Xbox in and pay the difference for a new model with the Samsung drive, easily the best of the four. The reason I'm doing this is becasue the Thomson drive does not read any CD-Rs and only certain CD-RWs. All I have are CD-Rs. The Samsung drive plays both except a certain crap brand. So it works out for the best. I'll still be doing that softmod, though. Just not as soon as i wanted to.

There is no Hitachi drive, brit. I have a Philips one, and it accepts most discs that I throw at it.

Except they made Sonic Mega Collection Plus for the PS2 with more games, and they're wanting to rerelease it on the Cube with even more still Still a bargain for the original though
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Eh, I'm not too bothered since a fair few of the extra games are unlockable on Sonic Adventure DX anyway. But if Mega Collection is re-released for the GameCube with even more games then I might part exchange my current copy. I'll also be buying the Sonic Gems disc when it comes out, since this computer refuses to play my copy of Sonic CD anymore. So much Sega stuff on my shopping list, hehe...

I bought myself Forbidden Siren after reading that horror games thread. crusher will be the one to blame if it doesn't live up to expectations. In addition to that, I also bought God of War.

I have considered and reconsidered buying DOAU...is there anything substantial that would justify buying it? Is it just DOA 1,2 and 3 with online, or is there more?
