Just picked up Enslaved: Odyssey to the West for $15.

This had better be good, Inferno. And random guy at EB who recommended it as well.

After quite some time of mulling it over, I finally caved in. I now have a used PS3 (160 GB), Eternal Sonata, Demon's Souls, Catherine, Valkyria Chronicles, Resonance of Fate, and Atelier Rorona all being shipped here in the mail. And an Atelier series artbook, just because.
Explaining this is going to be a joy.

Have you played Catherine at all? How is it? (Not that I can buy it, my parents would kill me. :3 )

Still in the mail, so I haven't played it, yet. It's supposed to arrive sometime between August 4 and August 22. I suppose someone in shipping and receiving is really hedging their bets with that estimate, there.

You might take a look at Ray's playthrough, though, if you want to see if it looks interesting. He's doing a Let's Play here.

You will not regret this. Ever.

As for the explanation, I've always been a fan of the explanation that I'm a sleep shopper.

Alternative choice, it's for "research purposes".

As someone who has played it, it is extremely good. Provided you don't mind what it is; A cutscene filled plot heavy puzzle game.

Good choices . The Atelier artbook is nice, lots back info on the series with the art.

Chantelise. "New" (actually old) game from the Recettear devs. Different gameplay, same old hilarious dialogue.

Bought Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit today for PS3. Tried going to GameStop. They were closed. 6:00. We get there at 6:20 and I know the manager, no getting in. Head to Wal-Mart Across the street to see if they have Skate 3. Nope. So I got NFS instead. XD

Back when there was that PSN Summer Sale, I bought all the Back to the Future episodes and finally got around to purchasing Hard Corps: Uprising. I'm very happy with both of them.
