I need help with a problem in Star Ocean 2 The Second Story.

When i enter a battle a message pops out saying "There is a problem with the voice data" then the game freeze. What is wrong is my game F***k up or do i need a patch for it. Please help me i really want to play this game. I am using epsxe.

what version are you using? i believe some games (mostly squaresoft) don't play on version 1.6 so try going to 1.5.2 (i believe) and see if that helps at all.

for the message, is there a window that opens are is it an error in the actual game? it could just be a bad iso.

try the special fix in the eternal spu plugin for it maybe that's what it fixes I've had no such problem with the game tho.

I would create another thread for it, but I dont think its important enough to bother.

I am running Star Ocean 2 (in CVGS) and now Im a fair bit into it Ive started randomly finding items whilst walking around ANYWHERE even the world map and inside houses. Is this a skill I didnt notice I had picked up or a bug?
