You don't use a double bass for NOFX (and you're supposed to use a pick on your bass - no chance I'll ever do that with my bass). Some things are supposed to be a certain way (no skill whatsoever to play Linkin Park, no double bass for NOFX, no pick to play Les Claypool's bass parts, etc.).
The psychotic dress, the senseless feature terrifies every living creature. Predictability is wearing thin; groundbreaking practice for the preacher.

Um I was talking about double bass drumming, not playing a double bass.

It's true you shouldn't need a double pedal to play NOFX, or for that matter most punk in general.

    Thread Revival :O :O :O

Finally scanned some pics of my drum kits. What I'd previously posted as being a Premier Royale is actually a Premier APK from aboot 1993, which equals even more owange.

    My old Premier Cabria
    My Premier APK, view one.
    And view two.

My set up has changed slightly since these photos were taken. The left bass drum is now behind the hi-hat, making it one hell of a lot easier to play. Pwnage?

Hey, I should post a pic of my piano and French horn and get some animal-print furniture covers for backgrounds. And after I do that, I'll go and buy a digital camera.

I'd do the same thing, but my bass can be seen at Peavey's website:

    My turn!

    Some shitty keyboard and ukelele

    Valencia nylon string acoustic
Casino something, strat body, twin humbucker
BC Rich Beast Body Art Series "Boris". Yum.
    Some small Casino amp
Laney 240W Quad (still in the market for a head).

    Picture of my guitar...

I remember I posted in here before, but I didn't put any pictures up.

    Ibanez RG370DX

Yamaha Pacifica 112 (I can't find one that looks exactly like mine, this one is the closest though. The neck is is unpainted and is the same colour as the headstock)

Laney TF320 amplifier (Again it's as close as I could find, mine is wider and has two speakers. I don't like it too much. Laney usually make brilliant amps, sadly this isn't one of them)

i have a shitty bridgecraft acoustic so i can learn the basics. i might start playing the violin again since i'm only learning for my own enjoyment, not to start or join a band. i want to get an electric though. and a bass.

    /me drools over Slim's guitar.
I don't like the polkadot though.
My bro has a very nice Spanish guitar, with which he can play quite a few songs from Pearl Jam and Metallica. If I had to pick an instrument, I'd pick Jesper Strmblad's "V-shaped" guitar or his ESP Explorer, shown here:
...just so I could jam like him.
