Default Where can i buy a ps2 cover.

I dont know what to call it but it's the cover on the ps2 with the reset and eject button. I want to know if anyone know good place to buy the cover because my cover, the wire that connects to th ps2 is all shrivel up and this caused my ps2 to stop functioning. Can anyone tell me where i can buy a cover.

Sorry to say, but you're basically SOL. If the ribbon cable is bad, there's not much you can do about it, if anything.

nope. if i remember correctly, there is only one end of the cable that can be disconnected without damaging the unit as a whole, so tring to remove it would require cutting/chopping/breaking the ribbon cable. so yeah like he said, unless you do either gat a new case or a new system altogether, you are out of luck.

he was talking about the ribbon cable as evidenced here^^ that is the ribbon cable/power wire that is connecting the reset and eject button to everything else. there are no other wires in that half of the ps2 itself. the rest are on teh underside. so i'm pretty confident that he means the ribbon cable. not teh power switch wire.
