Can someone tell me how to put your own ps1 and ps2 games on your pc and run them using an emulator?

Try Isobuster.. at least it works with PSX games... you do have to own the original games, but that's obvious. You can find it at www.aldostools.com

It is better to play the game off of the disc cause it runs more smoothly. Get eSPXe. It's the best PSX emulator. Try their homepage at http://www.epsxe.com

i use clonecd to make isos from my playstation cds. then you run epsxe(you will also need to get a bios file and a video plugin, see emuparadise.com for details), go file-run iso. you will probably have to configure your epsxe video settings to get it up to good quality. make sure you have a fast pc before trying to get all this to work though. but if you got a good computer, sometimes you can make the emulated version look better than the real thing.

you may also want to get Connectix Virtual Gaming Station, another awesome psx emulator. you dont have to configure it or get plugins for it, and its very compatible. however, it isnt as good graphics-wise as epsxe. i found i had to use it to get some games to work like star ocean 2, so you may want to get it anyway.

as for ps2, just look at ff10. can you imagine any kind of computer being able to use those kinds of graphics? it will be at least another couple years before computers are fast enough to emulate ps2 stuff.

Would an Athlon XP 1800+ with 528 RAM and a GeForce 3 (can't remember the number, but it was the latest one out before the G4) run it?

    (Equivelant of 2Ghz+ Pentium 4)

i use 1.4 gigahertz athlon with 256 megs of ram and a geforce 3 and ps1 games work perfectly fine. with the graphics settings i have with epsxe, emulated ff9 looks better than the real thing. so im sure your computer can handle it. but not ps2 games. they dont even have emulators for it yet, or computers fast enough to run it. but i wont care about ps2 once neverwinter nights comes out <IMG SRC="smilies/yelsmile.gif" border="0">
