Why is it when i play ff8 on epsxe, there is no in battle menu! you can select the options, but you cant see them!.
I'm using petes opengl plugin 1.57 and eternals spu plugin and my system specs are:
    AMD Athlon 800
    128 MB RAM
    NVIDIA TNT2 32MB

P.S i'm playing the game through the cd, it wont work through the image.

Nevermind, i fixed it, but now when i try to get to the galbadia hotel entry door (in the first dream sequence), everything stops, (cept the music) and then when you press some keys, it exists and displays a message:
Spec (it displays this now word now cuz i was tweaking with video options) Opcode 37 UNK (PC 000000ac) (000000a0) (843432,2)
    Whats wrong?

All emulators do weird things with all roms. I wouldn't post it here, I'd go looking on the emulators website for a patch or notify them of the problem.

Just open ePSXE click configure\video select your video plugin and hit the configure button under compatiablilty it should say 1- minimum campatiability - missing screens simply change it to 2 and your should be set
