    Default Whats the best way to configure epsxe1600 for Gran Turismo?

    bios i got: 41a=scph9002
    plugins = gpuPeteD3D, gpuPeteDX6D3D, gpuPeteOpenGL
    sound = spu core 1.5.2

    comp: p4 1.3 Ghz
    256 MB ram
    geforce 4 ti4200

    When i play the game, the menus are all pixalated and not very smooth. The in game graphics are the same. The cars are very pixalated. Im pretty sure psx graphics can be better then that.

    I would use scph1001 for your Bios. Use the DX6D3D ofr Newest OpenGL plugins. I would also up the resolution to at least 640x480. You could go higher but start there.
    Can you show us a screenshot to further help us out?

    ok i kinda fixed it a bit, but the textures are so horrible. When the cars are far away they look like a blob and only when they are close they get better textures. Is that how it was on the playstation or is it a emulator thing?

    ok, i notice that the text on most games (and most other 2d objects) look extremely pixelated on PC monitors, you could try connecting your PC to your tv if your graphics card is compatible, or turn 2xsal on, and i think one of the settings on "off screen drawing" or one of the other drop downs near that change the quality of 2d objects (but sometimes bringing up more problems)...

    sorry if this aint much help, im quite new to PSx emulation
