Default how easy will it be to emulate the PSP?

I got to thinking, how easy will it be for the playstation portable to be emulated once its released? The logic for me behind it is this:it seems to be based upon playstation technology and will most likely end up releasing gussied up psone games for it,just like the gba is a gussied up snes and the gba was emulated incredibly fast because its graphics were just pretty much that of the snes.SO do you think the psp will be emulated incredibly fast and easy just as the gba?Or will it be difficult be obtain roms because of their size? Will there size be that of playstation iso's?if so then thats a big problem as no site like emu-russia would host them.Tell me your thoughts...

Not sure emulating I would expect to come soon but as for dumping the games last I read it was gunna be using some sort of new media a bit like the Game Cube's mini DVD's.

The GBA was emulated fast because it's technical documents were leaked.

yeah they were, might of even been emulated before the hardware hit the shops, but I'm not 100% sure if that was the case, I can't remember.

Even so it will not take that long to emulate and I'm sure there will be a few to take on such projects.

This is all speculation anyway though so you will just have to wait and find out

Availability of info x Interested authors x availability of games = chances of being emulated

You can take the interest one as being very high, availability of games and info though are the ones that will count

I don't think it will be as fast as the GBA. The PSP would also probably require a very fast computer since it is just as powerful if not more then the PS2. I think I remember reading somewhere that the official Dev kit came with an emu that would run at 10% speed.

Uh, how are we supposed to have any idea how easy it'll be to emulate the PSP just yet? I know we have the basic specifications and all, but still, there are factors and features that we aren't yet aware of, so it's tough to know right now. Until we know more about it, I'm not going to venture a guess at just how easy it'll be to emulate.

EDIT: Knowitman, that's not how it works. The dev kits are based on the specs given by Sony thus far. That's it. It's not being emulated.

Let's just say that it will probably be as hard as the PS2 to emulate. How does that sound?
