Heh, well i suppose, but a games technical strengths cannot be denied no matter how funky it looks. Take a look at a screenshot for Ninja Gaiden, RE4,Halo 2 and you cant deny that it does look good, and if you think objectively one game will ultimatly look superior to the other. You just have to consider a lot of things before you can make an accurate decision. No matter how much i adore MGS:TTS i cannot deny that RE4 outdoes MGS:TTS in pretty much every way.

however, no decision can technically be accurate, unless we are talking about the advancedness of the graphics of a specific game

otherwise, it is all a matter of opinion, as someone could like the graphical style of some games, and consider the graphics better than those of another game...

How can i say this its imo the best looking game is half-life 2 but then agian thats not a consle game , but im just saying alotta people could agree with Half-life 2 ast he best looking game rite?

I would disagree, since the level of quality would vary upon the power of the graphics card. So if someone was to run it with minimum requirements and have to take everything down to minimal level, it wouldn't look all that sparky anymore.

Best looking console game? Ocarina of Time. Seriously, I still love those graphics. Dunno why, they've been far surpassed by now...

Seriously, this is what it all comes down to. Dragueth/Natrina/Kittie/whatever, is of the opinion that Ocarina of Time is the best looking console game, though he admits that technology has since produced far better looking games since.

Considering that this really all comes down to opinion, shouldn't we change the thread to reflect that? Rather then try to incite a debate on what is essentially all a matter of personal taste, why not just have people post what they feel to be the best looking games? There's nothing to debate here.

Oh you guys are no fun, but i suppose your right. lets talk about what everyone thinks is the best looking console game to date.

I still think RE4 pretty much kills everything in the graphics department, but if we were to talk about artistic directipns, i'd go with something like wind waker or even viewtiful joe.
