Eh? Paying to download roms? How can you sell something which isn't yours?

This has got nothing to do with emulation, only making money.

yeh, I know why the heck should you pay to download roms!?!? you might as well go out and buy the game for yourself and if you dont feel like doing that there are plenty of other sites out there with probably a bigger selection anywayz.......

It's one thing to play games that you don't really own (heh that's all of us here, right? <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> ), but charging people for access to roms/isos is taking it a bit too far. That just ruins the whole concept of emulation.

It's sites like that which give the world a negative view of emulation.

hehe, a negative view of emulation. That's funny. Charging people for roms makes the offense prosecutable anyway (at least in America). Like its illegal to copy games and hand them out to your friends, but it only becomes prosecutable when you sell them. If you don't I think the only thing the authorities can do is confiscate whatever you had, and make you promise under oath somewhere never to do it again.
