I've heard very good things about Adaptation too but haven't watched it (I have it burned so I might just watch it now ).
Hmm, I like Scarlett too, she's very pretty, and an extremely talented actress, especially when you consider how young she is. I enjoyed Lost in Translation, but definetly preferred Ghost World.

Donnie Darko... I just saw it... And its strange how much it relates to me... (dont ask, I'd rather not say here...)

That film has mind-****ed me... as my friend Joe would say...

(And the relation has nothing to do with the time travel part of the film... just... various other parts)

Jacob's Ladder. The biggest inspiration for Silent Hill, and just one hell of a mind ****er

    trippyness.. it's freaky.

if i recall its some guy that was in a war and was given some pills that altered his mind or something

so he sort of just trips out and sees weird stuff

but it looks strikingly similar to silent hill.. cos thats were they got their inspiration from..
    ..

so from what i remember the hospital scenes look really similar..

I've narrowed it down to my top 5:

    1. Boondock Saints (Just an all-around awesome movie)
    2. Black Hawk Down (Good stuff)
    3. Equilibrium (Not really a well-known movie... but I love it. It kind of makes you think, too....)
    4. Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark (Best one in the series)
    5. LOTR: Return of the King (Once you get past the length, it's great)
