I know it's a silly question, but I am having hella trouble finding Sega Genesis Roms. Is the Sega Genesis the same as the Sega Master System? Does anybody have links to a site for me?

No they're not the same.
Sega Genesis may have been known in your country as the Sega Mega System.
The Sega Genesis has Sonic & Knuckles.
Sega Master system had Alex the kid.

Never heard of the Sega Genesis referred to as Sega Mega System before - in the UK and other European regions it was known as the Megadrive.
So did the GenesisSega Master system had Alex the kid.

It did? okay the Master System had Alex the Kid in Miracle World.

Yeah the Genesis had Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle. Wasn't as good as the Master System series though with Miracle World being the pinnacle IMO
