    Default PS2 controller problem....

I just bought a ps2 a couple of months ago and one of my ps2 controller (that came with the game) has "broken".

By broken I mean to say the the right analog stick has "gone loose". Actually, an analog stick is supposed to be in the center and when you push it towards the right side and release it is supposed to "spring back" to center right.

My right analog stick stays there always and "doesn't spring back to center".

What should I do. I don't think I will get a replacement or something from whom I bought it. Is it serious? Will I be able to fix it by opening it up and doing something that I can ???

    Please HELP ME.

    Ey
Ok m8 this should be easy
just open up ur pad and where the analog is, there should be like a stick and a clip.
if the clip is broken then it's a new pad for you, if its cought on somthing un catch it.
also try holding down the analog and move it around while holding it down HARD.

Well, you just bought it a "couple months" ago, according to your first post, so the best bet would be taking it back or at least having a certified pro look at it...

Opening it up yourself voids your warranty, kiddo...

It sounds like your analog has just popped out of place. Really simple to fix, just unscrew the controller, fix the analog (you should get the original snappy feeling when you push down on the analog as confirmation that you've done this properly) and retighten it. Beware not to get the L and R buttons messed up, though, since there is a piece of rubber that slips beneath those four buttons that comes easily out of place and is slightly harder to reinsert. Not that it's hard, per say, but it's really aggrovating to get it in the right spot.

PS2 controlers dont cost a substancial amount of money. Buying a new one shouldn't run you too much.

Yeah, but unlike Tonberry, Norgus has a rather large vacancy where his brain should reside. At least Tonberry's insanity comes backed by wit....
