    Default Mac vs Windows

I feel this is going to be a heated discution.

We all know the majority like linux, but besides that, windows...or mac.

    I prefer windows.

Only thing I dont like about macs is the one button mouse, but that can be replaced with a regular mouse easly.

OSX is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than winblows.

I dont think anyone that hasent tryed BOTH OS's should vote, casue I thought mac was crap until I actually used one.

Naw, XP is better than mac by far. It never crashes (I've never had to restart from a bug in a program since I installed it), and it has the most good software. Granted it's a little slow, but that's about the only bad thing I can say about it.

I agree totally, although it isnt slow for me. Probably the best feature is all the compatibility IMHO. I have never like Macs, they always seemed slow to me, and many games wouldnt run. I really hated all the "new" things Apple would try, like the round IMac mouse.

When I went to different highschools all of them had mac's for computers; I never really minded using the OS, But like Fett aka hmm said what makes Windows a better OS is the Compatability, and the gamming issue which most of us here on the board do any how. The only hardcore mac users that I know of are graphics artist and book authors.

Graphics, and 3D polygons don't make great games, story-lines do!!

    Ey
Well guy's i work with mac's everyday at college, and they suck big time!!.
The hardware is pish, the osx can pop up with extention errors when it feels like it.
And the Imac's that we use are useless totally.
Mac's are ok if ur making publications, photo modifying and movie stuff.
But sept from that mac's dont hold nothing on windows or pc hardware.

Macs are alright to me, but I use a lot of internet downloaded software, and to be honest there's just more of it for PCs than for Macs... We've used Imacs in school for years, and they're pretty robust, but they're not the kind of computers I'd buy really... I do like 'Itunes' though, really good music application ^^

I don't think it's an issue about Windows vs. Mac, as it's more like PC vs. Mac... I'd take the PC anytime... Windows or Linux...

Higher compatibility, lower price... In the long run, it holds off better... There's been a general rule going around for quite a while: Macs are for dummies... I think that's true to a certain extent!

Plug n' play! That's all a Mac user needs to know...
