Yes , With Epsxe you can play the Iso's that you have on your harddisk ( or you emulate the iso with deamon tools and then you can use VGS)

ROM's are for console that use cartridges, ISO's are for those that use discs, I think

    You have several choices:

Download ISOs (and play them as ISO images)

Download ISOs and burn (you can then use them in a chipped PS1, as well as in the emulator)

Play directly off an original CD

if the image is in a format unrecognised by your emulator then mount it using daemon tools or alcohol 120% to a virtual cd/dvd drive. ust make sure your emulators config points to the virtual drives assigned letter and it should run.

Depending on the emulator. If you have an iso and you want to play it on ePSXe, theres no need to burn. You just go to run (or something like that) and load the iso. It should run fine. If you want to play an iso on Virtual Game Station (VGS), u can either burn the image or use daemon tools to mount the image and use it as a virtual cd/dvd rom drive. Hope that helps!

I will recommend using the Daemon tool method cuz there are still some problems with using the internal iso fucntion in epsxe. Mainly there are some problems with streaming audio tracks from games(some background music might be missing in some games).

    They are hot, aren't they??
