How to resize a partition?

I am just wondering what software I can use to resize a partition that already contains an OS.

I use Win XP Pro and wish to resize a partition I created as I found it is too small.

I previously remember using a small dos program I got off the net but I can't remember the name of it.

Any Help would be appreciated.
