Hmm. This is indeed a tough decision to make. But I'm going to say it's a close call between Magus and Lynx.

My Favourate is Samus Aran.

This is incredibly difficult, and I don't think I can really answer it properly. Among them are:
- Alucard (Castlevania) for his sense of justice and reason, plus he's half vampire/human.
- Bart (Xenogears) because for his strong sense of adventurer/etc
- Ghaleon (Lunar series) because he has the coolest voice, the coolest hair, and I identify with his justification of his actions.
- Locke (ff6) Also because of his thirst of adventurer, but also because of the reason for his questing that will be revealed later in the game.
- Sephiroth (FF7) It goes without saying; he's just damn cool.
Terra/Tina (FF6) She's different and seperated from everyone, yet her inner resolve keeps her going; and well, I strive to be like that.

White Knight Leo of Lunar: Eternal Blue!

This guy is sort of my hero because he's exactly like me in many ways. He spends his life adventuring and fighting for what be believes in with a strong devotion. Yet, he has a very fun and humorous side that almost seems to be another personality.
Except for the whole dragonship-driving and traveling around the world (lucky SOB), I'm just like that.... or something.

Everyone seems to like the "cool" characters, but I like the quirky ones. Some examples:

Quina - FFIX
He/She/It has a strong sense of hunger . which I have as well. You bake enemies. Classy.
Mr. Saturn - Earthbound
He's just ultra coool in his stylez.
Caith Sith & Vincent - FFVII
Caith Sith because of his coolioity and his sick one die, and Vincent because of his brooding demeanour.

But the coolest of the cool has to be...
DUELLE THE ONION KNIGHT - Legend of Mana
He has a onion on his head, he gets everywhere without you ever seeing him move, and he is a combat coolio. Utter class.

Tommy Vercetti from Vice City. Almost as badass as Solid Snake, and his game's more fun

Mine would have to be Vivi from FFIX or Celes from FFVI. I don't know why but I've always loved Celes for some reason.

Personally, I don't have a favorite character from any videogame. Sure, I like all of the main guys, like Mario and Samus, Link and Zelda, et cetera... Sonic is stupid, in my opinion, so I'll stay away from that. Most of the Final Fantasy guys don't have anything really amazing about them, to me: I like the exaggerated kind of people. Irvine from FFVIII is pretty cool, suppose.

Either the main guy (whom I named Cloud so don't know his "official name" ) from FFV or Chrono from CT. They're strong without being pompous yet they make themselves known. Magus is pretty cool too but I dunno I just don't like him.

The main characters name in FFV is Bartz/Butz.
