What's the best PSX emulator??

Hi everyone, I'm hoping to get some help from everyone here. Ok here's my problem, I had a PSX, but I sold it a few days before christmas. Well, and my aunt bought me a whole bunch of games, but what am I going to play them on? My friend told me that there's emulators that I can use to play the real CD games. Is this true, if so can anyone tell me where to find it, how does it work, and just give me tips in general. Thanks in advance!

I like both ePSXe and VGS. you can get them both right here at emuparadise

So I just install the program, them just place the CD in, and start palying? And will the graphics be better? Sorry, I'm new to any type of emulation after the SNES

ePSXe enhances the graphics (up to nearly Dreamcast quality) but VGS doesn't. Generally speaking, ePSXe is the better emulator, but it helps to have them both.
