Fuse of two pictures

Well I remember reading this tut on ps where you could fuse two pictures by using the gradient tool on photoshop but I lost that tutorial now. So I am asking if anyone could please help me find that tutorial or if they know how to do it to please tell me how. Thank you in advance to those who help.

Edit: The fusion that I am talking about looks like both pics are going into each other so that you see part of both on the pic.

Feathering or masking. There's two ways you can do it. One is using a layer mask and using a gradient to fade out. The other is actually deleting part of one image so that it becomes a fade out. Hold on, I'll edit this with links to tutorials of both. Finding one for masking might be hard though. Hold on.
