I find some of my parents lessons to be quite pointless. See, most parents nowadays want kids to learn from the mistakes the parents made when they were growing up because they don't want that happening to their children. So, since my mother had few friends when she was growing up, she has been constantly nagging me to get more friends. But that's not something that I do; I'm anti-social, I prefer being alone, it gives me time to think. Alas, the constant pressure to make friends has driven me into a state of anxiety where I'm being almost forced to do something that I don't want to do, merely because my parents are trying to teach me a lesson.

    Ya follow?

I see the lessons as meaningful because without them, you would'nt be what you are now.

Yeah, but is that always a good thing? I know more then a few kids who's lives turned out shitty because their parents have them shitty advice growing up. Parents guidance isn't good for you. Especially if your parents are morons.

The one thing I will attempt to do is give my children a better upbringing than me, and il damn sure notice if they are depressed, too, but I wont force em into anything.. I dont want em to go through what I did/might do again you know?

What I am now. A Christian gothic vampire with a fascination with retro videogames who has a rather diminutive group of friends with vaguely similar interests and a fianc about 1000 miles away? Yep. Thanks, mom and dad!

Hmm. Have you ever noticed that when you pull something in your back, it hurts even more when you sit down?

As to the last day of school on a Friday thing... my Friday's are shortened by an hour and a half. Every Friday.

have you ever noticed that when you get older, time just seems to fly by? like when you look back at all the time you've been at school, for me it's been 6 weeks this year, but it seems like it was merely a week.
