woke up and looked at my clock and was wondering why the hell my phones alarm didn't go off then looked at my phone and remembered. for some reason i was thinking it was next weekend we needed to set the clocks back because they keep stupidly changing the date for it.
either get rid of it or change the date to the 31st and leave it there.

been feeling bored today so I decided to play some psx games. the pcsxrearmed cored for RA seems to work pretty good. been giving bubsy 3d another go and gta 2 I forgot how bad the controls were in gta 2 not as bad as the GBC port but still bad.
I'm gonna have to grab the twisted metal series.

I have nostalgia for GTA 2. It hasn't aged super well, but its still fun. RA, Retroachievements? Yeah its fun to play retro games with cheevos.

Oh I see. I'm not a fan of Retroarch, I don't like the user interface, but hey that's alright. It is nice to have an all in one program for emulators.

decided to check out a couple of the pc games I downloaded recently. 1 was instruments of destruction this game is basically a spiritual successor to blast corps it's actually pretty cool
the other game I'm checking out is dying light it feels like an ubisoft game. I'm not sure what to really think of it beyond that yet I'm also not sure I'm really in the mood for a zombie game.

Going to check out New York here in a few months. Girlfriend and I are considering moving out of state cause our State is a dogshit state. Plus we'd have her extended family around where we're looking at moving. Kinda excited.

Not heard of the first game, Dying Light seems pretty popular. Didn't care for the look of it but I don't like zombie games/media for the most part.

it does wear thin after a while. literally running from one side of the city to the other to do missions or complete objectives gets tiresome. the only other real complaint I have about the game is it's durability system, you can only repair an item so many times before it's useless which does make sense for some items like wooden planks or pipes really anything that's hollow or wooden but it doesn't make sense for solid metal objects like pipe wrenches or hammers. there's also no durability on ranged weapons which also seems kinda wrong.
combat tends to get kinda boring too after a while especially when dealing with runners(at least that's what I call them) zombies aren't supposed to be able to climb or jump but runners can and they're fucking annoying because they'll chase you and hit harder than normal zombies and can dodge.
