Mariano Lopez, a sausage transporter, suffers the effects of a nuclear explosion. Unconscious, he is lying on the road next to his sausages and the wreckage of the truck, which are scattered throughout the area of the accident. Hours later he wakes up hungry, and ingests one of his radiation-affected sausages.
