Usually the case. I'd like to pick up cords in person but most of the time I can't get what I'm looking to buy. Actually makes me miss Radioshack.

Got some more junk for pocket change

    Spoiler warning:

Batman Arkham City (PC) - steelbook complete with slip cover
    TES IV Oblivion GotY (PC)
    Far Cry 3 (PC)
Star Wars Jedi Knight Dark Forces II & Mysteries of the Sith (PC)
    Lite-on DH-16A3L DVD/CD writer with lightscribe
    Sony m2 card 2GB

x360 Xenon - no PSU, HDD or HDD port cover (top), just bare console only. Front port covers aren't broken and it generally looks ok externally besides a few dirt marks I wiped off . There's a good chance this is rrod or simply defective in some way. I still want to test it anyway though

    x360 Falcon PSU (175w) only x2

I have a bunch of x360 psu's now (multiple of several actually), but no early Xenon/Zephyr 203w version at all.
So I ordered one just now from an electronics recycler Cost less than 1/4 the price these go for now (they don't appear as often. In fact I haven't come across a loose one in recent years), it did take some digging to find one at a price I was willing to pay.

finished shadow ops today. pretty good game but I did run into a nearly game breaking bug I had to restart one level 3 times. at a certain point in the level you get to a courtyard where you have to destroy 2 apcs with an rpg problem is only 1 of the 2 apcs were spawning on my 3rd and final restart of the level I spotted the apc that wasn't spawning properly.
aside from that I didn't run into anymore serious bugs. now to see if I can get codename outbreak working.

Having a look at the other Saturn I got recently.
Pulled the switch apart and glued the plastic bit back together, just letting it set for a while.
Just in case I need to replace it completely I went looking through parts bins and found a near identical switch (probably from a 90's PC case). I would need to solder swap over the cable/plug and what I think is a thermistor (I haven't really checked what is printed on it tbh) but the switch itself appears to be the same spec as the original.

Switch glued together is holding. But the switch is always on like it was before, I suspected this might be the outcome since the flat bit of metal inside the switch didn't seem to be functioning correctly.
Guess I'll try out the spare switch I found, but I'll have to put this project off for another day as I've got chores to do now plus organise dinner and some lunch for work tomorrow

The console does work fine though, it booted Biohazard no problem.

I did see a couple posts about the game running like shit(when they had it running)
I'm a bit disappointed as I wanted to check it out. I've given up on it for now.
