I see. It wouldn't be a bad choice if you wanted a small form factor box to consolidate stuff on. If I understand Synology's description correctly it should be 64TB max (4x16TB).

It's auction with bin, so I'll look at it again on Sunday. I might be able to get it for less than $100aud shipped
Gotta work today, then I'll check my funds and bills tonight for budget next week.

I missed your post. I have a local ISP. Someone is scheduled to come out next Wednesday. I hope it'll be a senior technician and I can get the issues resolved, the IP issue especially since it limits what I can do with the connection .

I cleaned and re-pasted my NUC while my internet was down before the changes. The old paste was so dry that it could be chipped and scraped off the HS . Now it's idling a good 15deg. lower and load temps have seen similar improvements.

It's around 10down/2.2up at the moment, it was 3/1, and it's supposed to be 25/5. I'd be content with the current speed if they left my monthly rate the same, it's the PF/IP issue that I want solved as soon as possible. I'll expect the speed issue to be resolved at some point if they want to increase the rate like they said (+$10). It's so-so for the price compared to city offerings, but there's no real competition; it's this, sat., or dial-up (if it's still available).

Got a SAS controller and flashed it with suitable FW. All I need to do now is pick up some SAS->SAS breakout cables and some drives .

Can't seem to find BDrips of V the tv series (1984-85)
I have the miniseries (1983) and Final Battle (1984) BDrips, it's just the later tv series that I can't seem to find. Only have DVDrips for that atm...

Dual analog is completely clean and fully functional now

Only has 2 very small scuffs at the bottom of each handle, I've gone over them with magic eraser so you can only see them in very bright light if you look really closely.
No nicks or worn print anywhere on this. HTF one this good (over here) for less than $14usd.

Just grabbed Himes Quest, similar to Zelda GBC. It's available for free here.

Looks like I'll probably have to pay extra for a static IP to be able to PF .

Why do you want a static IP? Isn't a dynamic IP better for security reasons. Been playing around with WSL, its nice to run graphical apps in the Linux subsystem, it works, but its not perfect and you can't really run linux desktops through it, unless you wanna go through a bunch of hoops. But it works at a basic level.

Sounds like his ISP is proper stupid. They'll handle port forwarding on their end, and will become confused about where to send data if his IP address changes, I think.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
