spent all week playing a game called littlewood to take a break from fire warrior. I went back to fire warrior today and I'm done with it. 3 levels into the game and it's become nothing but bullet sponges (and lots of them) 100% enemy accuracy and no reloads bullets are ripping through my armor and health like it doesn't even exist, I'm spending entire clips at point blank range and not even killing 1 of them I'm stuck fighting in narrow corridors with nowhere to hide or backtrack to, to reload or regen my armor.
I'm going to be checking out republic commando and a game called section 8 which looks pretty cool hopefully it'll be good.

started republic commando after having to troubleshoot it crashing on me when trying to start a new game(bumpmapping has to be set to low or off fro ati/nividia cards) i can't give much of an opinion on the game yet but it doesn't seem to directly follow episode 2 story wise but maybe it follows the clone wars mini series(I have no idea since I never watched more than a few minutes of episode 2 and never watched any other star wars stuff after that)
1 rather amusing(or rather irritating) thing is the blasters have horrible accuracy, it's no wonder why storm troopers never hit anything

Well if it gets a successor, the original models should go down in price.

Valve will probably clearance and then discontinue the original models if they release a successor at some point. If Valve doesn't can it out of the blue the used price should eventually go down.

I fired it up (normal difficulty) and enemies were dying with a reasonable amount of fire (several enemies on one clip using the gun they drop). What resolution were you playing Fire Warrior at?

Pretty much the same... It's summer here though so obviously different shit to what you'll get

I worked NYE, got home around dinner time and had to run the a/c until about 11pm just to cool the house. It's still 25c inside the house atm and a little warmer outside.

Wasn't like 40c today but it was hot enough with no wind at all. Some parts of roads were remelting like usual, you can smell the bitumen
