If you're looking to buy a handheld PC that is mostly only going to do 30fps just because it's a cheap option for a PC... then maybe you should just consider getting a last gen console.
PS4's can be exploited so you don't have to buy games, much like masterrace piracy.

XB1 and gamepass sub will get you a heap of stuff, even some nice oldies with enhanced visuals.

How are they for computer games ?

Someone could compromise at 45, 60, or some other supported refresh rate for the display. Running uncapped would be pointless.

Did you see the chart though? A lot of games there won't run above 30 on the energy saving setting (or whatever it is). So basically to run the thing on settings better than a console you'd have to have it docked all the time. Hence why I said I don't see the point unless you're on a train all the time

The 5w "long battery life" column has hardly anything in it, and the numbers that are there are 25-30.
Balance default column is 15w, High Performance is 18w.

I can't see how you could run this thing undocked with anything but low settings. I guess you could carry around a bunch of battery packs in a backpack

I only skimmed it. For newer games it sucks and I agree but surely battery life would be alright for older games.

*Sometimes with transitions (doors, ladders and things like that) you will see what looks like FPS drops, but idk if that's normal for the Saturn ports or if this is an emu issue.

I seem to recall this happening even on the original PS1 hardware. Like a half second pause halfway through the door opening for example. And def seen it on various emulators.
