the 61 key one I was looking at. it was a couple $ more but it seemed like a better deal.

so I got it but now I'm pissed I opened the package and heard a bit of a rattle I thought it was the cord and mic that came with it. I opened the box and found a couple of plastic pieces I flipped it over and found the thing has a broken chunk out of it
so now I have to file a claim over it

I took one look at the CL near you for cases and ... . A couple decent cases but too much for them. A free junker would be your best bet, maybe query family and see if any have towers collecting dust ?

yeah it was. it was packed in a soft plastic mail bag it was inside it's own box but the box is fairly thin.

I use a desktop. I actually prefer to use a desktop. Phones should be for calling and texting.

I meant within my family. there are still plenty of people that use desktops. I do kind of agree with that, that's all I really use mine for unless I'm going to be away from home for several days then I use it for some light browsing and emulation.
