This is my first Black Friday in years... have they been this bad for a while or is it just this year? Doesn't seem like there are major good deals this year. I have mostly been finding cool little gadgets, though, and Steam games on Green Man Gaming.

on a positive note I've found a game I've been happily playing since yesterday. I tried out kingpin life of crime on saturday I couldn't get far enough into to find anything I really liked the game was awful. I don't even know where to begin, the va was awful nearly everyone sounded the same the character models were shit all the male models looked the same(like an atypical no neck military grunt) the movement speed was way too high even when "sneaking" or crouched, the stealth mechanic didn't work, health an ammo were incredibly scarce(even on easy) and enemies were fucking bullet sponges. I tried twice to shoot someone in the back of the head point blank with a shotgun, the first time it didn't do anything the second time I tried I got 2 shots into his head and he was still standing then his buddies opened up on me and that's when I quit and deleted the game.
The game I've been playing since yesterday is oceans heart it's an indie zelda clone(more like a minish cap clone) but it's been pretty fun it's not overly difficult like ittle dew. I have noticed a number of spelling errors though but other than that I haven't seen any real problems.

Have you tried crosscode? Crosscode is an incredible labor of love that didn't market itself enough, even when it shoulda won many awards. (closer to secret of Mana than zelda, but has zelda-esque dungeons)

finished oceans heart last night. gotta say it was a pretty fun game not a hard game(the dungeons could have been bigger a lot in some cases) the only thing that bugged me was getting a sidequest about 3/4 of the way through the final dungeon. I ended up beating the final boss and had to go back to my previous save to do the sidequest it kinda didn't feel worth it to do the sidequest since it was just a mini dungeon with a fairly hard boss. it sucks that there wasn't any post game content.
