so I've tried 2 of the 3 pcie slots. I keep getting an A2 code when I have my card plugged in which is an Hdd error but when I have it unplugged it's fine I'm going to check my other pcie slot shortly.
all 3 pcie slots have been checked same result each time.

Can you hit the BIOS or is it before that? Will it boot without the HDD plugged in?

with the card plugged in I can't get the bios screen. without the hdd I can get to the bios screen, but I haven't tried with the card plugged in and the hdd unplugged. I was going to change the sata slot my hdd is plugged into anyway so I'll try the card and see if I can load the bios screen with it plugged in and the hdd unplugged.
no go it won't even show the boot screen with just the card plugged in. I was also getting an A2 error after I plugged my hdd into a different sata slot but I would still get the boot screen and no keyboard input.
would flashing the bios do anything for me?

You could give it a try. You might try the other BIOS first, it alternates.

There are pins on the MB, page 24 of the manual covers it. One position for the jumper is the main BIOS and the other is the backup.

I got thinking after I posted and figured it was that.

do you think the issue with the dvi not working is a bios issue or a possible driver issue?
I know the cable, monitor and card are fine so it seems weird that vga is the only thing working I can't really test hdmi.

It's possible it's the CPU having issues. Have you manually set the memory timings?

I did but I don't know if it saved. I noticed that it was set at 1333 instead of 1600 so that's what I set it at.

Welp saw my hematologist today. Talk about my follow up ultrasound and gave some blood for a few tests they couldn't do whilst on the blood thinners (which I've been off for almost 2 weeks now) Apparently my clot was all the way from my groin along my thigh to my knee!!! She said there was just a .3cm little remnant left and said not to worry about it and should resolve on its own. Guess I should trust the doc, still bothers me a tiny bit though that there's something left.

Hopefully everything is fine and it heals without issue.

Been like that for a year now. Changes are made to make things more organised and then other shit happens. Also lazy people trying to get away with not doing things properly and then you have to waste more time fixing things.
Sadly mine is just because boss man doesn't want to end up coming to the store, which sucks.

Not that it matters much at this point, but missing my kids soccer practice/games is getting kinda frustrating lol.
