FF13 was the game that really turned me off jrpg's. It's like I have ptsd now.

I watched it for the first time a few weeks ago.

Started off good but overall I agree.

It's like Mad Max 3 on water. You spend most of the time wondering how the hell people survive that long with no land, especially since apparently only one guy can breathe underwater (to get old trash). And the cargo ship turned into a Roman Galley is just ridiculous. Full of "wtf" moments

Basically same thing for me around 10 years ago. Got it for 360, did the first couple of chapters and traded it back in and got Lost Odyssey instead which is heaps better. In fact I mentioned that here in whatever hangout at the time. A few members were all like, give it a chance it gets better blah blah.

So, when it came to GP I figured let's try it again. I can only take it for like 15 minutes at a time and I'm just past where I was way back. From what I've read it is supposed to open up and get better but not until late game. I'm trying but not very successfully

Hey, Nintendo Switch jig's only cost like $2.50 now. Still horrifically overpriced, but they were stuck at $10 for ages.

IMO it got worse when the game "opened up". That's where I got bored and played something else.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

    Well shit

Ugh, I'll keep trying bit by bit, in the end at least I can say I've beaten it

Hell if I can get through FF8 I can get through anything lol.

I think maybe you're supposed to be looking at a guide to optimally explore the open space. I just walked for a couple hours in one direction, skipping alternate paths which I didn't explore at all. And I didn't know if I was supposed to eventually backtrack to explore them, or if I was ever meant to get anywhere? It's just kinda jarring after walking through a simple corridor for most of the game. I kinda meant to go back and play it after picking up the guidebook, but my old save is gone, so...?

I've been checking a guide personally. For an older game (I use to be death walking on even using a guide and in the past considered it cheating) I don't care anymore and believe me when I say that, so far anyways hitting all those tiny nooks for the odd item makes little difference. 99% of everything found can be gotten by monster drops anyways from what I've noticed. I'm not too far in the game though.

And yeah so far the game is just one long tunnel. Bleh. I don't have a ton of stuff I'm overly interested at the moment. Only reason I'm even attempting this.

    Come on Forza Horizon 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    No idea why this happened

Think I watched one episode of the original and I won't bother with this.
