1fichier is really nice for downloading these huge files. Like seriously, Elden Ring is 30GB and I downloaded it in under an hour or something. I member when I had to leave my computer on overnight to try and get a 4GB file, and fail.

There was talk on pkglinks a while back about not allowing 1fichier but it seems to have failed thankfully.
I mean Mega is near fucking useless for any file above 4GB plus it has data caps anyway.
Zippy works but if you have a PS4 game that is 25GB or more it's a crapload of split archive files... plus I can't see better speeds on zippy myself, 1fichier is faster to dl from (faster than mega too).
1fichier you can just upload the pkg no need for an archive at all.

Major reason why I picked up a NUC. I don't download as frequently these days but it's nice to have a low power box I can leave running most of the time. I need to get an email server setup at some point as I'm sick of dealing with the ever annoying "give us your phone number and other emails for "security" purposes" from email providers.
Needed to forward some ports. Logged into my modem, clicked at advanced settings, clicked at port forwarding, aannnd it's a blank page that says this doesn't work anymore, and to do this I need to visit my ISPs website, with a hyperlink to the relevant site... Logged into my ISPs website, clicked at advanced settings, clicked at port forwarding, aannnd it's a blank page that says this doesn't work anymore, and to do this I need to install a phone app Installed the phone app and clicked through and it worked, then my internet crashed. Because of course port forwarding is handled by my modem, and they made this "user friendly" and accomplish this by pushing an update at my modem and force it to reboot. I forget if reboots were required with port forwarding before, but damn, this effort to be user friendly is not.

Having to restart for PF is terrible, adding an "app" requirement to that is even worse. Does your ISP not let you use your own router?
