checked out that starblade game last night, it's interesting but the controls and combat suck.
also checked out bad blood, it is similar to wasteland/fallout I couldn't figure out how combat works so I died to a mutant bug will have to give it another shot today.

That has been happening with America Ebay for a long time now. Stupid sales tax. Especially the state where I live, the sales tax is 9.0%

Yeah, I'm looking at 12% myself, for some random used item. I guess the real problem is this private transaction is conducted publicly, so if course governments are going to want their cut.

Its bullshit! All we need right now is higher sales tax. :/ Damn governments.

Taxes help pay for things though
Everything is more expensive now for most countries. Some are a lot worse off so I would keep that in mind.

Really it's rich people and big corps avoiding/reducing the tax they pay that you should be angry about. Some govs make changes to help combat that, but chasing money costs taxpayers money.

Looking to hack a Wii Mini for fun. Read guide, see I need to run Linux to get it done, sure I guess I can do that. Grab thumbdrive and download stuff to make a bootable usb. Think to reboot PC and change boot settings, notice my MoBo doesn't have any usb boot options... *sigh* See CD/DVD boot options, oh yeah, that's a thing. Grab blank DVD and go to burn off a disc, and Windows can't find the drive. I haven't used it in years, I guess it's dead. Now I need to buy a new DVD drive I'll barely ever use... This fun little project isn't fun anymore.

God, installing Linux is an awful experience, this is the first time I've done it, and probably the last.
Took bloody forever to 'launch' without installing shit, I wasn't watching it the whole time, but it was spamming out countless errors, which I shortly discovered the cause of. So when I finally see it finish booting up, my keyboard works, mouse doesn't! I figure out my usb ports don't work. I Google going wtf, find a fix, so I need to type some stuff in the terminal, then reboot. There are several problems there. I can't reboot cause I have no idea how to do that just with a keyboard (maybe possible, if I was actually familiar with Linux), and even if I reboot idk if any settings will remain (I haven't installed shit, it just loaded off a DVD into my ram apparently). I attempt to disconnect my keyboard, and attach an old PS/2 mouse, it doesn't work. I grab multiple usb mice and just start plugging em in cause ones just gotta work. Boom, one does, cause my usb 3.0 ports work Anyways, now that I can click shit I install the OS on the drive I attached, then do the thing that's supposed to fix my usb ports and reboot. Now it seems all good, so I pop open the terminal to hack my Wii. Type in the commands... and nothing... the terminal doesn't work right. I'm sure I didn't typo anything, it's some sort of wget error I think. Try to pop open the preinstalled Firefox, and nothing, it doesn't even launch. Open app store thing, update Firefox, and Firefox still refuses to launch, install Opera, also doesn't launch, install Chromium, doesn't launch. Reboot PC. Now Firefox works, Chromium works, Opera still doesn't work, whatever, try the terminal. Now it works, hack my Wii, success, I now have the HBC on my Wii mini.
Linux is fine, when it works. But damn is it ever buggy.

Ubuntu. Maybe that dislikes older hardware or something, I dunno.

been playing a dos game called crystal caves for the last few days just finished it today. it was a really fun arcade platformer with some puzzle elements I should have guessed it would be good since it was made by the same company that did commander keen it's actually pretty similar to CC just less brutal you get 3 hit points instead of just one.

I have tried various distros of Linux. None I really liked. Mint was ok. I've been using the Linux Subsystem under Windows and its not too bad. But meh using Linux full-time just isn't feasible for most people. I hope I can make a new build this year. I'm still on DDR3 RAM.
