Maybe unpopular opinion, but I just can't really get into Breath of the Wild.

Yeah it can be tricky - there's just too much empty space in my opinion. I have fun when actually doing something. I'm at 20 hearts with only doing the first creature dungeon thingum so guess I should plow through the main stuff at some point. I kinda fizzled out on this game a few months back.

Welp, time for a family trip lol.

3 hour car ride, so not too bad. Got the hotspot going on my phone and have the laptop connected to it. Time to relax for a while.

Yeah large open empty spaces, and the shrines are pretty meh. I also don't like that you have complete like 4 before you can get a heart or stamina upgrade. I prefer the traditional Zelda style.

I actually like some of the shrines with the puzzle aspect. But again like you said having to do 4 just to get a heart gets tedious. Since I'm emulating it's almost impossible to do some of the ones that require motion controls though.

The last Zelda I came close to finishing was Phantom Hourglass.

Yeah, if you're emulating it using the Wii-U, you can kinda trick the motion controls (Using a Xbox 360 gamepad, I messed around with the camera and controls and was able to get it, after fiddling around with it for some time, still tedious). That's how I got that one where you need to flip the ball using that platform.

Also, I think a remake/reboot of the Motorstorm triology would be great. Was playing it last night, the game really was one of the best racing games.

Yeah I managed to do a couple but their was another couple that were just too much of a pain. So I just left those.

Yeah I totally get it. The game is kinda tedious overall.

Takes forever to go through the options and enable xbox gamepad motion controls too. Doesn't always work for some reason. Switching back is easy enough though and works every time.

well my "new" desktop is finally(well nearly)set up and windows is up to date. I got around to doing some testing on it checked out duke nukem megaton edition, morrowind and oblivion. Oblivion is running good so far on med settings the other two games are running mostly fine duke has a weird screen tear like issue but otherwise runs fine morrowind's colors looks a little washed out might have to mess with the options a bit my settings didn't transfer when I moved the .ini file.
I also installed dosbox and with the dfend frontend(that is a time saver) played some classic nukem for a bit.
