Web browsers for phones suck. Just browsing the web on a phone sucks. I had to upgrade my phone, cause my old phone was gonna be out-dated since they're shutting down the 3G network. Or so they say. At least it was "free" $35 activation fee :/

I had to get my home phone (wireless modem) upgraded for the same reason. It was also "free" plus activation and a large chunk for taxes.

Maybe your provider will provide a "free" upgrade, with a sneaky activation fee. Greedy ass companies.

I bought the phone unlocked many years ago and get cheap service, it supports 4G. Blackberry is ending or ended support but I think they were referring to software support and I haven't updated in who knows how long anyway.

I had and have a android phone. I originally got an android to aid in development for android, but setting up an environment for andorid development is a pain. I kinda wish desktop was still the norm, well I do wish it was the norm still.

I think I understand how you do like your old phones. Some years ago, I used to own a Windows Phone. I really loved it, even though it became a nightmare to use it (no support to Youtube and Instagram, for example). I had to replace it because the battery didn't last more than a couple of hours.

I actually heard that people who had a Windows phone actually liked them. Yeah even though I had to upgrade to my new phone, my old phone barely had a battery life.
