Yeah you need exploited PS4, but fw 9.00 is exploited now (and it's pretty stable apparently) so it should be easy enough to get a used console and exploit it.
Mine is still on fw 5.05 so I still have to wait for backports. I have never had any kernel panics and never had to restore my HDD so it's the only reason I'm staying with what I know works best

Plus side of fw 9.00 exploit is everything runs without backports atm. As I said it is meant to be heaps more stable than 6.xx or 7.xx exploit though, no idea if it's truly as good as 5.05 exploit

was this only done because retorarch doesn't have a saturn core for ps4?

    No idea. I haven't got RA on PS4 so I wouldn't know.

That ain't bad. It can be hard to go back and play N64 games. The camera in a lot of N64 games is really meh. We've come a long way from old 3D games.

I can't stand the N64. Emulating is probably the only way I'd play any N64 game, playing on the console always gave me a headache back in the day (probably from the blur filter ).

The N64 has aged horribly compared to the PS1. Although early 3D graphics have aged horribly in comparsion to today's 3D graphics.

N64 can only really be played on a huge crt, s-video is the better option (without mods). Even then, yeah I can't play as much as other consoles.

Welp got my new pc. Still screwing around setting things up the way I like it.

Tested Mario Sunshine out. Before it ran at like 6fps now it's full speed. Guess that's something.

Even through emulation N64 is something that is hard to play for a long time without causing headaches or some other type of strain.

I have a 4th gen i5 as well. They're a pretty good processor. If part prices ever come down, I hope to make a new build someday.

Yeah seems to be decent. It's leaps and bounds over my last one that's for sure. Still getting used to Win 10 though. Fiddling with settings and such.

Yeah I'm probably gonna have to upgrade to Win10 eventually. At least there is some cool things about it.

Steam and Humble Bundle should bring back flash sales.
