My CPU seems to get really warm under load. Like 55-65C while gaming, sometimes 70-80C, its an i5 4690k @ 3.5Ghz. It idles at 30-35C. It has 4 cores. I'm on Windows 7 SP1 and No viruses or other malware has been found.

Put some new quality thermal paste on there and change to more efficient cooler.
Spoiler warning:
If you want to be as cheap as possible then change the paste first and go from there. I second DL's suggestion if you don't mind spending a bit more.
You can get cheap huge coolers, they might not look cool and the fan will have noise but they work better than stock. Not all the cheap ones are ok though obviously.
I'm only thinking you have cool weather atm over there, and whatever is going on will only be worse when you have hot weather
Spoiler warning:
Yeah its usually cool weather here most of the time. It can get pretty hot during the Summer here though. I'll probably upgrade to a better cooler. Honlesty though, if it weren't for bit-coin miners, I'd really prefer to make a new build, but parts are too expensive right now.
Its mostly fine for games that don't require too much power. I notice after a more demanding game has been running for a few minutes or so, the temps seem to even out, once the GPU fan starts spinning. (GPU is a Nvidia GTX 970 with 4GB)
Managed to work up to a Warhammer, not hero mech but does pretty well in missions above my rep level (my other lance mechs are lower tonnage).
Spoiler warning:
Basically unique variants of certain types.
I only have one atm; Commando hero which came with 4x double heatsinks and higher than normal speed compared to normal variants. It also has ok armor for a 25 tonner and sports 4x M lasers, actually a really good light mech.
I did have another hero, a Spider, but I stripped it of a few rare parts and sold the remains (got 1x double heatsink and 2x AMS with ammo).
Thing is you can only have 12 mechs in your hanger, you do also have "cold storage" which only houses stripped mechs. I've read that cold storage can hold like 50 mechs but idk if that's true
If you do have 12 mechs in your hanger then you can't claim any new mechs as salvage from missions.
Some missions are multi, you can swap to other mechs between these multi parts as you can't repair between missions inside multi mission.
Anyway, pretty much everything you hold onto increases your running costs (bills that need to be paid) so I don't use cold storage atm. Need more c-bills
There's a fair bit of management involved in the game.

Merry Christmas

Nope you can't swap out a hanger mech for a salvage mech afaik.
It would be nice if they let you send salvage mechs straight to cold storage and stripped the parts for your inventory but they don't do that either afaik.
Yeah I used one of the double heatsinks on my current Warhammer (on the engine heat sink slot).
