S3 of Designated Survivor is terrible.
Basically Netflix seemed to have removed all the action stuff and added random profanities, gay sex and some other boring crap instead.
The first 2 seasons were ok, not a great show but interesting enough for me to keep watching. Now I'm finding it really hard to watch these last episodes

so sucks may not have been the best word they're more annoying than sucky strafing isn't strafing is a slow sidestep and holding "action" + whatever direction to interact with things(pickup open activate) becomes tedious.
combat isn't that good either it feels like a watered down morrowind combat system(hold "action" press direction) for 2 kinds of swing also having always run on with no way to turn it off is annoying and I've still to find out how sneak works.
I am interested in ranged combat hopefully it wont suck. I will give it some more time to see if it's something I'll stick with to completion or not.

Ranged is very strong but you run through arrows like water. If I remember right there are parts of the game where arrows are hard to come by; and sneaking isn't completely broken, like it is in Elder scrolls, which makes it kind of lame.

that's good to know. I'll probably load it up later and play it a bit more today. last night I made it to old camp and nearly got attacked by a guard inside for walking into a building I thought was the blacksmith then I ran into this annoying guy that made me take him with me

Yeah only 1 season so far though, it started in 2020.
It's basically a Japanese version of the first US season so not really a complete remake (but current setting so tech is more recent obviously).

The guy playing Jack Bauer's character is older than me apparently

You know there's an Indian version too? From 2013 (only 2 seasons).

gothic feels like a really watered down morrowind. picking locks is annoying(not quite oblivion annoying)it's just a guessing game of left and right 4-6 times and the combo doesn't change on reload so once you figure out the combo you don't have to worry about wasting lockpicks(if you've saved before your attempt)
I'm kinda on the fence about this game still it's mildly interesting but the gameplay is lacking and so far what I've experienced of quests they're just errands for lazy people also money(ore) is fucking scarce and most of the people I've encountered are all in the protection racket.
it's actually kinda funny all these people want protection money and know I'm a newbie and have no money but seem to think I have money to pay them.

Well I'm probably gonna have to upgrade to Win 10 soon. More and more software is becoming Win10 and above.
