decided to plug my ps2 into my tv today rocked out with a bit of guitar hero 80s was going to play gta vice city stories but my controllers buttons were sticking and the right analog was so I took it apart and cleaned it but the left stick is still sticking hard it's not even dirty the sticks just bad.
anyway I have 2 spares (1 wireless and 1 wired) checked out the wireless first, I got that minecraft ps2 homebrew working today it wouldn't launch for me before it's weird. the games pretty barebones but the basic mechanics are there pretty impressive for something made just last year it really has potential.

Weather is really messed up atm. Last couple of weeks we've had storms on and off, trees getting knocked over and some people in my state (very small number) have been without power for a couple of weeks.
Guy I know over the other end of my small town was without power for 2 days the other week (large tree that caused that also blocked off a street), I only lost power for like 5-6 hours and it was the early hours of the morning anyway.

Last couple of days has been really strange. Sun is out one minute and it feels nice (not hot but just mild normal weather for this time of year). Then clouds come in, wind picks up and we get heavy rain (but doesn't last for hours on end though) and the temperature drops really quickly to winter conditions.

weird. we're having normal weather for this time of year cold and snow in november it hasn't been like this in years.

Vancouver has gotten nailed with enough rain the past 3 days that we're currently cut off from the rest of Canada. Like 4-5 highways have been simultaneously washed out. Apparently some people died while stuck on the highways and hit by followup landslides.

yeah. it really hasn't been that bad till today it's starting to remind me of FO 3/NV where you have to save like ever 30 sec-1 min
also learned a couple things about the game. 1 don't have blacksmiths fix your shit they end up lowering the max durability more than junk dealers, 2 bought/found schematics are not usable by party members only the player, and 3 attacking certain enemies(or in general)with fists/gauntlets can drain health.
also why the fuck would there be wolves deep in dwarven mines? or lycans for that matter? I get spiders golems and some other things but wolves and lycans wtf?
