I was doing that years ago, but falling asleep and losing where I was in a book started to annoy me

I could never remember the exact page number from just before I passed out. Where I was in the book yeah, but then searching for that spot was just annoying.

3rd party sellers. Both Wal-Mart and Bestbuy do them, like Amazon. Super annoying imo, I don't even like them on Amazon when Amazon ships their shit.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

So I order FC6 (Xbox) last week on ebay. New and the listing I purchased from was a bit messed up...
    Spoiler warning:

Local retailer (not an individual), listing had stock pics of standard edition but "Gold Edition" was mentioned three times in the listing. I took screenshots of the listing as evidence and also the item in my purchase history
Item arrived on Friday, it was standard edition as I pretty much expected. Sent a direct message to seller with my screenshots and photo of what I received.
Asked why I didn't get Gold Edition.
As they're a smaller retailer they only reply on weekdays.
Got a reply today with a Season Pass code including pics of the actual code sheet as evidence

Fired up my XB1S to install FC6, needs update of just over 7GB.
Also had a bunch of other updates so I'm downloading well over 60GB now

Was looking at FC6 today - 159.99 for the ultimate version digital. Wow.

About buying games, I'm tempted to grab Borderlands 3. Couldn't get into the first 2 but it was free this weekend for gwg and really like it. Also happens to be on sale right now not surprisingly.

Yeah the gold edition is a fair bit more than standard.
There's only one small DLC available to dl atm anyway, the others will be released sometime.

I saved a decent amount of money getting the season pass for nothing

I got a used steelcase version ages back, it was dirt cheap. Missing the outer plastic sleeve and no DLC obviously.
I do have it installed atm but pretty sure I haven't played it

Actually Borderlands 3 I might've got from EB Games ebay store. They have some good deals on there sometimes but used stuff is pot luck (case might be generic EB cover or whatever).
Sometimes the used stuff can actually be new though, like when I got Black Mirror recently it was still M$ sealed but it had preowned stickers on it and I bought it as such.
Their postage is good too, it's like $6-7aud with no extra charge for multiple items (combined postage) also has tracking.
So I look there when they have stuff discounted and usually buy 3 games or more at once.
Their packaging is very solid too (in-house sturdy cardboard), used games are shipped in CD/DVD type sleeve that is secured in manual holder of case.
